Who We Are

The Guy

Steve Crenshaw is a Christian author, speaker, and blogger who is attempting to promote discipleship in the Christian Church through the spiritual disciplines.

Let’s face it, the church at large has become watered down and is a laughing stock in the world. Steve believes that through Christ, and the spiritual disciplines exemplified by Him, we can grow and change into the Holy Church Christ started.

Steve does not believe that you need to be a monk to practice the spiritual disciplines. He wants everyone to be able to live holy lives, and live them as unto the Lord in all walks of life.

The Ministry

We are a discipleship training ministry which emphasizes a deeper relationship with Christ through developing the spiritual disciplines in the life of the believer. Through strengthening the individual believer the church as a whole will be strengthened. By strengthening of the church through the individual believers we will see the Christian church again become a beacon to society as a whole.

It is the mission of Spiritual Teamwork to:

  1. Glorify God in all we do
  2. Aid believers in deepening their walk with the Lord
  3. Help facilitate the strengthening of the church at large through the strengthening of each individual believer.
  • We believe that by glorifying our Lord Jesus in what we do, we will begin to strengthen believers in what they do.
  • We believe that in order for a believer to see the world around them as God sees it they must first get away from that world to see God for who he is.
  • We also do not believe in taking sides. We will meet you at the cross. We will adhere to our beliefs and we will not call names. We ask you do not either. Debate the point don’t attack the person making the point.

While our list is not long, it is not as simple as it sounds. Yes we want to glorify God as does every ministry and believer.
It is our belief that the American Christian Church today has become entrenched with the world instead of being a force for change.

The Church has missed the second part of the great commission. We have been so busy trying to make converts we have failed to make disciples. Yes we have a lot of people that can say what their pastor or another Christian teacher says, but they have no idea why they believe what they believe.

We are not mystics we will not tell you to run off to the desert. If you run to the desert you will be no good to anyone else. We do not believe the spiritual disciplines are for salvation, they are for deepening your walk with Christ. What we want to do is instill a deeper walk with Christ that is transformational.
